Storm Gloor
Assoc. Prof. College of Arts and Media at CU Denver
Storm Gloor, MBA, is an associate professor in the College of Arts and Media at the University of Colorado Denver. He is program director of the Music Business area. Mr. Gloor was the recipient of the university’s 2018 Excellence In Teaching award and the college’s 2020 Excellence in Service award. Mr. Gloor’s teaching experience includes courses such as Music Marketing, Music Cities, Music in the Digital Age, Introduction to the Music Business, Current Issues in the Music Business, and Artist Management. He also teaches a course on the Beatles and will be teaching the university’s upcoming The Business of Taylor Swift course. He is a past president of the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association, a Recording Academy member, a Grammy mentor, and serves in the Denver Music Advisory Panel. He has presented at many events, including NAMM, South By Southwest, the Music Cities Convention, the MoPop conference, the Future of Music Summit, the Association for Popular Music Education conference, and the College Music Society.
