Dedicated to enriching the culture of the Denver community, Swallow Hill Music is one of our city’s most distinguished music nonprofits that offers music lessons, music therapy, and direct community engagement. The bustling music school operates seven days a week on the same campus as where they produce and promote concerts and events throughout the Denver metro area, including summer concert series at the Denver Botanic Gardens and Four Mile Historic Park.
Swallow Hill Music concerts include international, national, and local musicians who perform on the three intimate listening room stages in the historic venue and at locations throughout the Denver metro area. Musical genres produced on Swallow Hill Music stages include Americana and roots, as well as singer-songwriters, world music, rock, bluegrass, country, jazz, blues, and more. They also host a variety of free community events, including a monthly open mic and an vinyl record club.
Recognized as an SCFD Tier II organization with an annual budget of $5 million, Swallow Hill is a nationally revered hub for concerts, classes, and community engagement. They have received prestigious accolades, including the Mayor’s and the Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts, and have been inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and honored with the Folk Alliance International’s Business Lifetime Achievement award.
